All About Me

Hello! My name is Sharon Lynch and I teach Kindergarten at Monkton Central School. I am a native Vermonter and a graduate of the University of Vermont with a B.S. Elementary Education (K-6) and a Master’s in Education (Reading and Language Arts, K-12). 

 

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, watching sports, and playing miniature golf. I aspire to visit all of the 39 Major League baseball stadiums and play mini golf in each of the 50 states.

 

Teaching has always been my passion. I have been a teacher in Vermont for 22 years (11 years at MCS!) and I love having the opportunity to work with children every day; particularly Kindergartners. Their inquisitiveness and joy for learning makes every day so exciting!
