A little bit about me...
Hi! Monkton School is awesome! This is my 7th year at MCS and I have been a licensed School Counselor in Vermont for 27 years. I grew up in Randolph, Vermont. I completed my undergraduate training at the University of Connecticut in Human Development and Family Relations and my graduate training in school counseling (PreK-12) at the University of Vermont.
I live in North Ferrisburgh with my husband, Dave. We are parents to 3 thriving adult children! My interests outside of work include being outside, playing the french horn, doing SoulCollage (recent interest!), kettlebell fitness classes, and camping in my teardrop camper anywhere...but especially in Vermont State Parks and Prince Edward Island. Oh...and I love walking my dog, Lilly.
I love being a school counselor! My passion is supporting students and families to learn skills that can help them solve problems, manage feelings, and be good citizens, students, and friends. There is no other place I'd rather work than with our amazing young people at Monkton! I look forward to connecting with you!
