Dear MAUSD Families,

The first day of school is just a few short days away, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome students back for the 2026–2027 school year!

As we begin the school year, we want to make families aware of a transportation challenge. Our transportation contractor, BETCHA Transit, is currently experiencing a driver shortage. As a result, Starksboro and Bristol will each operate with one less bus route than originally planned.

Please take a few moments to review the attached bus routes for your town to ensure you have the most up-to-date pickup and drop-off times for your child. We recognize that these changes may create some inconvenience, and we appreciate your patience and flexibility as BETCHA Transit continues to recruit additional drivers.
