About Me
Hello my name is Shelly Cota, I’ve worked at Monkton Central School for 26 years and I have to say I love it. Currently I’m the Positive Behavior Assistant but I have worn many “ hats” during my time at MCS.
When I’m not working I love to read, work in my garden and play with my grandchildren singing & dancing.
I have to say my passion is coming into school everyday and seeing all the smiling faces and making connections with each student & their families . I feel at home at MCS 😁

Hello,my name is Shelly Cota and I’ve been at MCS for a long time…24. Years…it’s been the best time of my life. I started at MCS as a classroom assistant, then move to be a one on one assistant and now I am the behavior assistant for the last five years and I absolutely love my job and my students and all the relationships that I have with all the staff the families and the kids. In my spare time I love reading hanging out with my cat Lola traveling and spending time with my family and friends.
